If you’re interested in learning about zine-making and queer history, we have the perfect event for you!
We’d like to invite you to meet some older LGBTIQ+ people and listen to the trailblazing tales of things they’ve fought for, achieved and challenged over the years.
It’s a fun, free and informal event where you’ll have the chance to chat to other people involved in the West Yorkshire Queer Stories project and co-create content for an upcoming zine, designed by local zine-maker Kirsty Fife (aka @DIYarchivist on Twitter). You’ll also get your own free copy when it comes out!
The venue is Leeds City Museum on the afternoon of Sunday 7 October 2018 (2-5pm).
